About CIILE

About CIILE

Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Legal Entrepreneurship (CIILE) is a Not-for-Profit Centre at the Chanakya National Law University, Patna. CIILE (CNLU, Patna) encourages startup in the areas of Legal and social Entrepreneurship within the institute and the society at large. The goal of CIIE is to promote start-ups and entrepreneurship as a viable career option and as a means to make a social and strategic impact.

Providing support to startups

CIILE will support in scaling up the early-stage start-ups and facilitate converting business ideas into entrepreneurial ventures. To this end, CIIE aims to build and share resources including space and infrastructure, access to business support services, seed funds, mentoring and training programmes to enhance the skills of entrepreneurs.

Fostering culture of innovation and entrepreneurship

CIILE will work towards fostering a culture of innovation among students and faculty of educational institutions by organising initiatives/events, Startup-fests, idea competitions, startup boot camps etc. These will encourage students and faculty to work on new ideas, which could later be converted into successful business ventures.

Building an entrepreneurial ecosystem

An effective entrepreneurial ecosystem requires active participation of multiple stakeholders, including business, policymakers, educational institutions, social networks and other civil society actors. CIILE will nurture this ecosystem by bringing together start-ups, industry mentors, eminent academicians and researchers.

  • Create Physical infrastructure and support systems for business incubation activities.
  • Foster and promote entrepreneurship spirit.
  • Facilitate knowledge creation, innovation and entrepreneurship activities.
  • Facilitate networking with professional resources, which include mentors, experts, consultants and advisors for the incubate companies.
  • Enabling development of high quality personnel and motivating researchers to grow professionally within organizations through Masters and PhD Programs.

  • Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Legal Entrepreneurship (CIILE) of Chanakya National Law University, Patna is organizing an Intellectual Property Law Workshop titled “Thinking Like an Entre-Lawyer: IP Chapter” on 13th August 2022 in CNLU CRC from 3 PM onwards. Registration fee Rs. 100.

 

  • FICCI in collaboration with “Centre for Innovation Incubation & Legal Entrepreneurship (CIILE), CNLU is organizing a workshop on Creation, Protection & Commercialization of IPR on 16th September 2022.  Prior to the event FICCI is also conducting a quiz on IP on 14th September, the winner of the quiz will be awarded on 16th Sept 2022 i.e. on the day of the event.  The link for registration is provided below. There is no registrations fee, all students of B.B.A LLB, BA LLB,  LLM and Ph.d scholars are requested to register for the quiz and attend the programme.
